England vs Australia 2026 - About the Series
England travel to Australia in November 2026 for a white-ball double header: three ODIs followed by five T20 Internationals, spread across eight of Australia’s finest cricket venues. It’s one of the most action-packed England tours on the calendar, with matches in Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra between 13 November and 2 December 2026.
This is an ideal tour for fans who want to experience Australia and watch England in action without the commitment of a five-match Test series. The shorter format means fast, high-scoring cricket, electric atmospheres and an incredible opportunity to see multiple Australian cities in three weeks.
The Venues
Perth Stadium, Perth: One of the world’s most modern cricket venues, right on the banks of the Swan River. Perth is warm and sunny in November, and the city offers spectacular beaches, the Swan Valley wine region, and some of the best seafood in Australia.
Adelaide Oval, Adelaide: A beautiful ground in the heart of the city, famous for its cathedral scoreboard backdrop. Adelaide is compact and easy to explore — the Central Market, Barossa Valley wine region and McLaren Vale are all within easy reach.
Bellerive Oval, Hobart: Cricket’s most southerly major venue, with the Derwent River as its backdrop. Hobart is compact, charming and home to MONA, one of Australia’s most extraordinary art museums.
MCG, Melbourne: The home of Australian cricket and one of the world’s great sporting venues. A T20 under the MCG lights is a spectacular experience, and Melbourne offers world-class food, culture, sport and the Great Ocean Road nearby.
Gold Coast Stadium, Gold Coast: A unique venue for international cricket, with the Gold Coast’s famous beaches and theme parks on the doorstep.
The Gabba, Brisbane: One of cricket’s most famous grounds, transformed by major renovation in recent years. Brisbane is a vibrant, modern city with easy access to the Sunshine Coast and the Glasshouse Mountains.
SCG, Sydney: The Sydney Cricket Ground is one of the most iconic sporting venues in the world, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House nearby. Sydney needs no introduction.
Manuka Oval, Canberra: A more intimate venue in Australia’s capital city. Canberra is home to the Australian War Memorial, Parliament House and the National Gallery a great addition to any itinerary.
