Lahore Excursion

Sunday 20th October
Transfer to the airport.  Depart Karachi on your flight to Lahore.
Arrive Lahore.  Transfer to Pearl Continental Hotel for three nights stay.

Monday 21st October
Full day sightseeing in Lahore exploring the first capital of The Great Mughals.  Visit Lahore Museum with its rich collection of pre and post Pakistan. There many interesting galleries with the best as Greco-Roman Art of Gandhara. Outside the premises of the museum you will see an old gun which was very dear to Rudyard Kipling. Later drive to Badshahi Mosque, the Royal Mosque and Lahore Fort.  Afternoon visit Jehangir’s mausoleum on the outskirts of Lahore.

Tuesday 22nd October
Walking tour of the walled city of Lahore.  Visit the Golden Mosque, see the daily life and the great rush of local bazaars. Visit Wazir Khan’s famous Mosque.  During the tour you will get a good insight into daily life. Coming out at Dehli Darwaza (gate) proceed to Shalimar Gardens. Afterwards drive to the Wagah border to see the well scripted flag lowering ceremony which is quite a spectacle.

Wednesday 23rd October
Transfer by road to Islamabad (approx. 5 hours drive).  Stay six nights in Islamabad at Pearl Continental Hotel.
