The following tour is an example of what you can do.  All of our trips are tailored to suit your requirements.

Wednesday 28th January
Depart London Heathrow on your indirect overnight flight to Colombo.

Thursday 29th January
On arrival at Colombo airport you will be met and transferred to Kandy.  Stay six nights in Kandy at Kandy Myst by Cinnamon Hotel.

Friday 30th January
1st T20I at Pallekele Stadium, Kandy. Transfer to/from the ground included.

Saturday 31st January
Morning visit to the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela. This orphanage is the home for about 89 elephants, out of which some are baby elephants found abandoned or orphaned in the wild. They are being cared, fed and trained by the wildlife authorities. The best time to visit is during feeding times, when you will have the opportunity of seeing the baby elephants being bottle-fed. Also you can accompany the elephants to a river close by and see them having their daily bath.  Return to Kandy via a spice garden at Mawenella.

Sunday 01st February
2nd T20I at Pallekele Stadium, Kandy. Transfer to/from the ground included.

Monday 02nd February
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kandy, including a visit to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic followed by a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing.

Tuesday 03rd February
3rd T20I at Pallekele Stadium, Kandy. Transfer to/from the ground included.

Wednesday 04th February
Transfer to Dambulla.  Stay four nights in Kandalama near Dambulla at Amba Yaalu Hotel.

Thursday 05th February
Sigiriya rock tour. Climb the Sigiriya rock fortress which is a world heritage site.. The ‘Lion Rock’ is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock.  Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the ‘Heavenly Maidens’ of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway.

Friday 06th February
Dambulla rock cave temple tour.  Climb up to the temple, which was donated by King Walagambahu in the 1st century BC to Buddhist monks. Dambulla is a World Heritage site and has five caves with over 2000 sq. metres of painted walls and the ceiling is the largest area of paintings found in the world.

Saturday 07th February
At leisure.

Sunday 08th February
Transfer to Colombo airport for your indirect flight to London.
Arrive London Heathrow this evening.
